Many ADAPT activities include protests. As a manager of an Independent Living Center, in Albuquerque, I wasn’t sure we should be involved in such activities.

Art Spark Texas (formerly VSA Texas) has been a tremendous supporter of The Gene and Dave Show since its inception. With their help, Gene and Dave have been able to inform others about people with disabilities.

Dave and I have worked with Amerigroup on several occasions. We often helped them celebrate the Caretakers Luncheon, which recognizes some of the best attendants in our area.

We have won many awards for our work. Recently, Gene and Dave received the inaugural 2019 Lynn Marie Johnson Media Arts Award at the Art Spark Artist of the Year awards.
